You guys hating on CB are on cr@ck. I've run the same set of Eggbeaters for 4 years and the only problem I had was a broken cage, which they fixed under warranty despitet the fact that I smashed it on a rock, and I only paid $40 for them. I also have a set of 5050's for DH that I've beaten the heck out of and haven't had a minutes trouble. I also only paid $40 for those. So for all thsoe who say they're too expensive and don't last, I say you don't know what the heck you're talking about. I'd buy almost any product they sell. I'm not an industry insider or anything, so I'm not defending anybody because I have a horse in this race, but isn't improving bikes and their components a good thing? A stiffer, lighter, stronger axle system and all of a sudden the bike companies are out to get us. How many of the complainers are running 10spd rear? That was a new idea a couple years ago. Personally, I have CK fun bolts and don't plan on changing any time soon, but you better believe I'll look at this when I do go shopping for a new frame.

That's a '06 fok. Why are people always saying there stuff is newer than it really is. '08's have quick release and are gray. No, that's the cables/ brake hoses I think. 
For a 4 year old brake $50 is pretty reasonable. 
'08 has the quick release.
That's a '07 fork, not a '08.
